Peter Arrowsmith has practised since early 1998 as a National Insurance contributions specialist to provide technical backup to fellow practising accountants who may not have in-house expertise in this ever more complicated area. He has a wide breadth of accountancy and tax experience having trained and qualified in 1978 as a Chartered Accountant with a top ten firm. He first began to specialise in National Insurance in 1977. He also speaks and writes extensively on the subject. He was a member of the Tax Faculty's National Insurance committee from 1988 to 1999 and is now a member of the replacement Employment Taxes and National Insurance Committee, having been Chairman from 1999 to 2007. He is also consultant editor to the Tolley's National Insurance Contributions annual and Tolley's Practical NIC monthly newsletter. |
